With the right tools, making wonderful fresh baked bread from your own ground wheat is easy.  In fact, with a Bosch Universal and a wheat grinder, making 4 loaves is barely more difficult than making bread in a bread machine.  And there's not a little paddle to dig out of your loaf of bread!

Freshly ground wheat and grains contain all of the nutrition - including vital minerals and vitamins as well as fiber - that was intended for you.  Commercially produced bread has many of the nutrients removed to increase shelf life.

With the development of hard white wheat - known as Prairie Gold - whole wheat bread is lighter and fluffier.  Not the heavy dense loaves you may have tried years ago.
