I love using these to store my grain in the original pail. The gamma lid actually has two seals. One is in the lid where it attaches to the pail, and the other is in the screwable cover. The benefit of the gamma lid is that you can easily open the pail without a husband or lid lifter. It simply unscrews. They come in red, white, blue, black, and yellow. I color coordinate them with the pail ingredients.

Corn - Yellow

Barley - Black

Many people like to coordinate the lids with the color of their kitchen and lable them.
